We received an email about a young boy, Robert Charlton, that has leukemia and was in desperate need for whole blood and platelets. The brothers came together and donated whole blood and platelets, a 2 hour process, in his name. Many brother FOOLS donated in his name and here is just a few pictures that were taken.

Woody Brice, a Lt. with Coral Gables Fire Rescue, passed away in December of 2001. He was a true brother and was voted in as an honoray FOOL. His son Dustin was presented with a plaque and a leather lid in honor of his father. Accompanying Dustin was Chief Herman Brice, his wife Jackie Brice and Vilma Brice (Woody's wife).

Amanda Schulteis, daughter of Ed Schulteis (PBG firefighter), was diagnosed with Leukemia. When the FOOLS heard about a dinner to raise funds for Amanda, they responded. The FOOLS were there wearing their shirts and leather lids. We spent time with the children, serving food and cleaning up. This is what the FOOLS are all about.
